For Jason and Russ Hart of Turned & Burned, wood turning is a metaphor for life’s beauty, trials and renewal. They acquired their passion for woodworking from their late father, and who spent much of his free time teaching his boys how to express themselves through art and carpentry. In most of their pieces fractal patterns are burned into the wood, then filled with glow-in-the-dark epoxy. The combination of wood grain, pattern and color creates unique, eye-catching objects d’art.
